Nine years ago, Tobi Blatt recognized a need for high-end, high-quality contemporary fashion “closer to home,” she said.
So, she opened the original Tobi Blatt, a fashion boutique serving Carmel Valley, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe. She followed that up with stores at Carmel Mountain Road, Poway and Encinitas.
The upcoming year promises even more exciting developments, according to Blatt.
As a parent juggling home, work and children, Blatt said she was frustrated she couldn’t shop for contemporary fashion without jumping on the freeway.
Blatt said her goal was to create a store busy shoppers could visit first thing in the morning, or last thing in the afternoon, a visit that wouldn’t take them too far away from home or the immediate neighborhood.
