Love to Dance, Inc. offers a comprehensive and psychologically
sound approach to introducing children to the world of dance
While others say they have a program for the little ones, Love to Dance, Inc. has a highly comprehensive and intelligent approach to the psychology of their youngest clients.
With thought and purpose in mind each class creates an evolution for the child to accomplish yesterday’s impossibilities. They have designed four evolutions within their Tiny Tots SM program. The classes are taught in 12 class sessions to allow encourage growth and progress.
Children can begin at 6 months of age with baby sign language classes to alleviate frustrations, crying, and tantrums; this develops a strong foundation of communication. Taught by best-selling author Monta Briant she helps parents open a window into their babies' minds and personalities by teaching them effective two-way communication through a fun and simple combination of play, music, and American Sign Language signs. This is a super-fun class that opens your eyes to your baby's amazing world.
At 15 months the children and parents can begin Magical Mornings classes. A peaceful and creative class that guides you and your child through mental and physical development, teaches them how to interact with others, and ultimately to gain a little independence. This class encourages a fun yet structured environment using all types of music, improvisation, basic dance moves, and song. Building self confidence, coordination, movement, imagination and a sense of rhythm is the focus. Sharing, forming lines interaction with other dancers and adults help prepare the young dancers for the next class which is independent of the parent.
Around age two the little ones may begin to show they are ready for a little independence. Their Beginning Ballet and Tap class is imaginative beginner class that introduces them to their 1st “Real Ballerina” dance class, a fun and exciting time. They use age appropriate music and imaginative props. Their students enjoy stretching their imaginations while learning to dance. Self expression through music and movement will assist the basis for further dance study.
As their students get into the three’s and four’s they step up the Ballet and Tap class just a bit. The dancers enjoy a circular warm up and ballet progressions with new concepts presented each week. Basic positions and terminology are taught through these unique lessons.
