Dr. Kingston is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He earned his B.S. degree at Stanford University and his Dental degree at UCLA, then completed specialty training in both Anesthesiology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Los Angeles County Harbor General Hospital. He has been in private practice since 1975 and is on the active medical staff at the Scripps Memorial Hospitals and Scripps Clinic, and is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kingston's areas of special surgical interest are dental implants and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) rehabilitation. He has lectured extensively on these subjects and dental anesthesiology, and chaired the Scripps Conference on TMJ in 1989. He is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American College of Dentists, dental honor societies.
